Hello Forum,

Just got my hands on a '07 GPW, red/black AP2! I've stalked this forum for a bit and gotten some great info, so thanks for that and figured its time to sign up and say hi.

* Reflections of a new owner:
1. A high-school kid stopped me at a red light to tell me "I like your car bro." Made my day.
2. Chased an orange GT3RS down the Angeles Crest... too much fun
3. Bimmers really like trying to run me off stoplights

So, who wants to wash my car for me?

I'm James and I just purchased a 2006 Laguna Blue S2000. This is my second S my first was in 2003-2005 when I had a year 2000 model. My current S has 56000 miles on it. Since I got it in December I have replaced the top, the entire audio system, bled the brakes and added some major sound insulation. I sold my first S because I couldn't take all road noise. It's much quieter now thankfully.

I sold my 97 Del Sol VTEC to buy the S2000 and my other car is a 2001 BMW 540i.

I'm Nick, and I'm just generally interested in the s2000. Don't yet own one, but maybe someday.

Hey guys, my name is Harrison and I am currently living in B.C. Canada, joined so I can lurk around a bit and learn about the s2000 before I go out to search for my future car, have been looking into getting a 2nd car for a while now, my current daily is a 91 Miata, but that car will be going under the knife soon for a restoration/build, and I have been looking for something new to daily in the mean time! Have been looking into used newer Miata's, FRS/BRZ's and S2000's, the S2k is definitely the car I like the most of all the prospects, if I can find a clean one near my budget in the next year or so then I think I will have one in the garage soon!

And if anyone was interested, here is my current ride, its no S2000 but it has been a fantastic car so far, was my first car, and I have been through a lot with it in the last 3 or 4 years!

Hey Harrison. I'm sure if you put your mind to it and look carefully, you will find the perfect S for you!

That's a really nice Miata! I used to be in love with those cars. I've owned a stock Miata and a turbo'd Miata. They are great cars and will always hold a special place in my heart. You'll find that the S2000 is a big upgrade. It's not as fun to slide (in my opinion), but once you move up to an S you'll always want one. If you can keep the Miata too, even better!

Welcome to the boards (everyone) and good luck on the hunt!

My name is Mark. I had a 1986 CRX that I bought brand new and drove it 240k miles. I loved that car! Since then I have driven sedans and minivans for the family but I always dreamed of eventually getting an s2000. Finally we all decided Dad deserved to get the car he wanted and I got a 2002 s2000 with 59k miles. Love it!! Everyone assumes it is my midlife crisis car :0

What's up everybody! I'm Thomas, have had my AP1 03' for a year now but only got to drive it like 5 times before the axles, bearings, hubs, diff. cover cracked, radiator hoses and a few others things went bad. Sad week that was, been up on jack stands but I had no idea how expensive some of these car parts are! I'm 6'6 lol, car used to belong to my girl who is a lot shorter 5'6 lol she had multiple cars and that just sat around. This site is great! Lot of information.
