Hi,

I owned an MG midget for 41 years and during that time, completely rebuilt it. I sold it because it was finicky and would be a hard sell for my partner, Joan, if something were to happen to me. I have owned many Honda's over the years, starting with a brand new '84 CRX. My last one was a 2018 Fit. In between were countless civics, CRX's, even an Accord wagon. I also built CRX's into oval track racecars and my racecars won a half a dozen championships and countless races at our local track.

I was heartbroken when the MG went down the road. I started thinking about what could take it's place and then I thought of the S2000. It's a roadster like the MG but with the Honda engineering that I know so well. So I sold my Fit and went looking. I found a 2005 in Charlotte, NC. It was some work to get the deal done and the car shipped to Maine where I live but it is here and now I am an s2k owner. It is an amazing car. I think what impresses me most is how easy it is to drive, kind of like a 2005 civic, until you get on it.

I trust this will be my last Honda.
