Hi everyone. I became the lucky owner of a MY06 S2000 a month ago. Wanted one ever since they were released and wow, they certainly don't disappoint. Fairly low mileage 66K and I think I got lucky to get my hands on a (very rare?) deep burgundy one. It even has the original roof, although this has certainly seen better days. This forum has been an amazing resource already and I've been compiling a list of all the little fixes and bits of maintenance to do on it (TCT, soft top straps, hard top strikers etc) as I want to keep it in the best possible condition. My first proper drive in it was to complete the Scotland North Coast 500, driving up from London. Despite the quality of a lot of the roads up there the S performed to perfection and not a single issue on it. I am in love.

I’m just here to buy a car. How do I earn permission to contact sellers?

You need to pay for the annual subscription to buy and sell I believe.

Well done. I personally think this is an excellent car to learn stick on.

Let the trans heat up a little before you pound on it... 10 min or so of driving like a 'normal' person.

Default Hello there from Virginia.

Since I'm picking the car up this weekend, I figured I'd join this forum for insight and information. Older gentleman that has been around cars for quite some time. I have lots of track time (certified NASA instructor) and finally found a very good deal on a 2000 red S2000. Car only has 10,300 miles on it (yes, little old lady owns it now that her husband passed away) and it in excellent condition. It even comes with a hardtop. I look forward to picking everyone's brain about this fun little weekend car. No where near as fast as my C7 Z06, but very engaging nonetheless.

Thanks. About 70 miles from my house in Chesterfield, Virginia. Climate controlled garage kept for 20 years. I found one small chip in the paint....that's it. Original tires (which I'll replace) still look new.
