What a coincidence, I am also just joining as a new S2000 owner - I looked at that silver 2003 in Daytona, but it looks like you got to it first!
I just picked up a stock Spa Yellow AP1 (2002) S2k with around 50k miles, and am looking forward to this spring (purchased in the south, but I'm trucking it to my home in Indiana shortly). I figure I'll use this opportunity to ask - I've been reading through the wealth of threads regarding stereo upgrades on this forum, but am wondering if anyone has any off-the-cuff recommendations - I'd like to keep things as stock as possible, so I'm currently looking at a new digital media receiver HU and new pair of door speakers, leaving the tweeters alone.

LOL, yeah I pulled the trigger on it and loving it since. mine needs a little TLC on the outside with some wet-sanding scratches and some PDR I'm going to do.
Sweet, I always liked it in Spa yellow as well. post some pics of yours when you get a chance. Not all cars can pull off yellow IMO, but the S2K has what it takes!
Hey Guys. Been browsing this site for probably a decade or so but only recently got in on the action. I dabbled a bit a year or so ago with my '04 but just got into a '00 GPW that I'll be accompanying with a separate build / journal thread to come. In any case, glad to be here.

Hello! Was a member of this forum about 12 years ago when I purchased a 2003 Suzuka S AP1. My screen name was ErickS in South Florida, had a great time at events and visited the "TAIL of the DRAGON" on a few occasions. Met and made friends with some great people. I heavily modded the S, full bolt on, Vortech SC, and numerous tunes..I enjoyed it very much! The car was then sold to a friend who would always accompany me to the meets.
I have now purchased another Suzuka S AP2. This one is completly stock, and I will be selling it also in the classifieds here on this great forum. Thanks!
Just imported my AP1 from Japan to Toronto. Love the forum, tons of info. Cant wait for summer and to get to meet some members here.
On a side note - if anyone has a suggestion for insurance providers in Canada that cover RHD imports that would be greatly appreciated. Its been a battle trying to find one.

Hi folks, my name is Robert and I bought my first s2k yesterday -- it's an 03, seems to be bone-stock except for tips, and Suzuka Blue. I'd like to replace the timing-tensioner per lots of advice on this forum, but can't figure out how to "private message" Billman. Even once I 'add to contacts' there's no 'private message' option -- what am I dong wrong? Thanks
