I own a 2003 Ap1, it randomly gave up on me (4 cylinders misfiring) i decided to take it apart to clean the whole engine properly , replace gaskets etc...190k miles
So far, fuel rail line and injectors are cleaned. And they spray 360cc
next, the intake manifold(the hard part)
I hope I can learn from yall as I work on this engine for the FIRST TIME.
hey S2KI! happy to be here. always been a honda guy. hate toyotas. 4runners are cool though. i have one. seriously though, if you want to sell a GPW s2k and are located on the west coast LMK. AP1 or AP2, dont care. thanks
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I do not actually own an s2000 but I do keep my uncle’s 2003 s2k for him. I love the car and I am here to hopefully learn how to fix a few of its issues.
I’ve had my SSM AP1 for about a year and figured it was time to end my days of lurking S2Ki and finally join it. Happy to be here! In the time I’ve had it I’ve done ohlins, ap2 wheels, motor/trans mounts. Made it feel like a whole new car. TCT and valve retainers are next.
Jumping in to say hello. Purchased a 2003 SPA AP1 a year or so ago. I've enjoyed it and done some basic maintenance. Looking to finally getting around to doing the TCT and possibly install AP2 retainers. I've owned all sorts of Hondas over the years and this one is here to stay for the long term.
Just picked up an 02 Silver S2000 a few weeks ago in the Panhandle of FL! Looking forward to being a part of the community around here. She's got 86,xxx miles and seems to be in pretty good shape after I replaced the IACV with an OEM one.
Hello all. Not an owner of an S2000 but have always wanted to be ever since they came out. I feel like I've lost my chance due to the current market, but hoping that something will one day pop up that I can afford. I did own a manual '99 Prelude SH a long time ago and miss driving it for sure. Honestly debating whether to keep on hoping for the S2K or going along the way of a GR86 for around the same price.

Seems to me like prices are coming down a bit from several years ago. Prices typically pick up in the spring as the weather gets nice. If you've got your mind set on an S2000 and price sensitive, wait until late fall or early winter for someone in a rush to sell.
im from the central coast of california and have had am the second owner of an 03 ap1 i bought in 09. i was a convert from nissans, having owned several s13s before the s2k. i transitioned from track days to kart racing and wanted a car that was fun stock and went with the s2000. i am now 160k miles later and am considering selling it and thought id familiarize myself with the community. nice to meet you.
