Hi everyone! Brand new to the s2000 platform but been a fan of these cars for years. Here's my currently extremely rough and molested AP1 I just picked up for cheap. Plans are to turn it into a dedicated hillclimb car to compete in the appalachian hillclimb series. Looking forward to learning from y'all!

Congrats and welcome. That does look like a battered example. Quite literally an uphill journey for you. Good luck. I'll look out for a build thread to follow your progress.

We are so back (2006 supercharged and dressed in red)
So I had a 2001 that I got to drive for like two weeks before someone T-boned me and sent the poor s2k to the boneyard. But I am back, I picked up a new stooky that is an AP2 (cant tell you which one feels better yet but currently leaning towards AP1) and it is supercharged.

Just got a 2004 S2K. Rio Yellow with 47K miles. Been starting to get ot into shape. Changed trans and diff fluid. Oil was fresh with correct filter, bought 3 from Honda for the next changes. Will do brakes, clutch and coolant over memorial day weekend and polish the paint.
Got the engine bay detailed prior to doing a 2 day run up rt97 in NY this past Monday & Tuesday. Will get the battery hold down cleaned of rust and recoated. Quick wash Sunday before we left Monday morn.
my trave companions we do these several times a year. Usually there are 2 more guys with us.
