Any other recommendation on an mostly original S2k? The cruise control didn't work on the fwy. so that's also on the to do list.
Did you figure the cruise control thing out? If not, check the clutch pedal stop pad. It's a little plastic piece that tends to deteriorate over time. You can get them at pretty much any auto parts store. The brake pedal has one as well. They typically come in a package of two or more so you might as well replace both and keep one as a backup. I have owned my Silverstone ‘00 S2k for over a year now and have found this place to be a lifesaver basically every month. I finally came around to making a profile and I’m excited to learn even more about this great car!
Greetings all! Picked up our first S2000 recently. Have loved these cars since the first time we saw one 25 years ago. Test drove a new one back then, but with our first child on the horizon, bought a minivan instead... Better late than never though. Found a beautiful, stock, low mileage 02 - exactly what we were looking for - and have been loving it. Wish we hadn't waited so long - what an amazing machine!

Just joined, hoping to gain some knowledge to purchase a S2K in the next few months, I am in the MA looking for something nearby with under 100k miles that hasn't been modified. Currently have a few cars and bikes, have always admired and wanted a S2K, using the bikes less in the last few years, but not ready to part with them yet, maybe the S2K will help me get to that point. Thanks.
