Default Ipod to radio

Question for anyone...is their any pictures of the back of the radio. I want to know if there are RCA jacks in the back to run to a small plug jack for my Ipod. Don't care about running it through the radio controls. Just want to play it by direct wire. I would really appreciate pictures and need to know what it takes to access the back of the unit. Thanks, any help would be appreciated. It could be emailed to me at sailor2mon@yahoo.com. Again Thank you.

There are no RCA plugs on the radio. You attach the iPod through the CD changer/XM connector. I did not take pics of the installation on my 2006, but it has the same radio. You need to pop the top hard plastic piece off the center console(start from the back) then take the trim piece off of the dash(which has the flip down door for the radio). From there the radio will have four screws holding it in. It slides out, then the Aux-in connector will plug into the back of the radio. This unit will convert the radio jack to a simple RCA aux-in port so you will need a cable which plugs into the converter and terminates in a stereo mini-jack to plug into the iPod. I LOVE my hook up which is attached to an iRiver H320. This is the aux-in unit I used:

Note: it says 2004-2005 S2000 but works fine in the 06-07 cars.

This company also has iPod specific connectors which will charge your unit and connect to the bottom of the iPod so it will sound better than a headphone jack connection. The hardest part of the install is finding a place to put the aux-in unit as it is very tight inside the dash! You will need to take the storage bin in the passenger knee area out to to access the area. This bin is a great place to put the MP3 player so it is hidden out of sight. I drilled a small hole on the medial side of the bin and ran the cable through it to my player. You will love having the player once you do it. You will likely want to upgrade the speakers in the doors as well.
