Allow myself to introduce... myself.

My name's John, and I'm from Atlanta, GA. More importantly, as of last night I am the proud new owner of a 2005 S2000. It's Silverstone over Red/Black, and has 24k miles on it.

I had to sell my beloved 2004 S60R to make room, but I think I made a good swap. I'm keeping my track car ('95 Miata CSP/SM) for now, but it will likely be sold after I fall in love with the S.

I purchased the S from a guy I used to work with at a car magazine in L.A., so I know it was well cared-for. The week-long transport time to Atlanta almost killed me, though!

The car currently has a K&N FIPK intake and HKS Hi-Power exhaust- the sound is intoxicating!

Future mods are up in the air... here's the short list:

Suspension: Eibach Pro or Koni/Ground Control?
Wheels: BBS LM, diamond graphite face, carbon fiber center cap
Hardtop: OEM or Mugen
Eventually: SOS Supercharger?

The car will be my daily, with occasional trips to Autocross and maybe an eventual trackday, so the mods will be with that in mind.

Any comments and input are welcome! I'll be on the lookout for Atlanta/Southeast area events, as well as WTD '12!

from what ive read, your first mods in ATL should be seat locks and a alarm.

Thanks for the welcome! It was clean until I took it to Road Atlanta today for the Petit Le Mans.

As for the seat locks, they're already on order!

And I actually meant WTD10, or Wake The Dragon 10, which is apparently a big Dragon run in April. I unfortunately won't make the last AutoX this season, but I'll be out there again for Points 1 next year!
