hi all. just bought a s2000 which has a thew mods. great site btw.will try n get some pics up when i have time. just a couple of question its a 2001 model. the roof needs replacing which im gonna do.can anyone suggest a good place that will supply n fit a new roof. with glass window??? 1 more question. the car has a mugen ecu manifold decat exhaust filter ect. seems to be running rich. my sis was behibnd me in her vx220 turbo noticed it pops abit and has seen the exhaust light up without sticking it on a rolling road.how does the ecu compare with stock? thanks darren

I'm thinking you are actually running lean. Did the car come with the stock ecu and stock parts? I would try to get it back to stock as soon as possible. The tune could be garbage and damaging your engine.

hi thanks for the welcomes. id say its more running rich if anything? soon as u start up the engine u can smell abit of petrol. seems on hot days that it pop abit more then normal. yes ive got the standard ecu n cat. do these ecu's really make that much of a differance to stock? or would the cat help? had a little play with the vx220 didnt really stand a chance tbh. mods are richmond final drive 1.57 if i remember? mugan ecu toda manifold decat exhaust.prob should stick it on a dyno to see if fuelling is correct?

 

cold starts smell like gas,
but it will lean out once the rpms drop,
