well guys I just got a hell of a deal on a s2k. we traded in my 2002 bmw 325i that had 110k on it and got me a 2000 s2k with 103k on it. The only problem I have with the car is the wind noise from the top. I remember seeing a thread about how to fix this. Its caused by the latch being wore out and I think you like switch them or somthing. the thread had pictures. anyone know what I'm talking about?

 

i don't have any noise but i thought i read a while ago that it was fixed by using washers/spacers on some thing but i don't know, never had to mess with them...

Just slip some rubber tubing over the latch hooks to give a tighter pull.

You're in luck as I just did this mod.
I did switch the 2 latch and added washer.
My wind noise have been reduced like 90%.
