The Phaeton is a damn nice luxury car... Certainly the nicest I've ever driven. I'm positive that had Volkswagen marketed it under a different brand name it would have been a huge success.

However a luxury car isn't exactly what I want to drive, hence my situation, haha.

Haha, I guess I mainly get that from my family. I was trying to sell the idea to them that instead of the typical Christmas + Birthday present business they just help me buy one (I'd still be paying for the vast majority of it). Although thankfully this option hasn't FULLY closed (even if it does, it's not a massive deal, just an extra year or so of saving), a good quote I got was:

"You're not supposed to like your first car."

I was kinda like... "What's so wrong with wanting to like something I own?"



But as you all said, I just got a lot of saving left to do. I'd like to think I'm a bit better with managing money than the average guy my age, so I think I'll be fine.
