i noticed the santa barbara tag on your screen name and nothing is more breathtaking in the S with the top down on the 154, santa rosa road, the 1 and 101 freeway.
How do you think I am putting some miles on it today ? Yup, you guessed it 154, to Foxen Canyon Rd. and back home on the 1 (last 20 miles on 101 but I can't avoid that)

It will be hard babying that motor but someone has to do the job, glad its me.

And Thanks for all the welcomes everyone !

Thanks for the info!

Would you happen to know the mileage on the Lagunas by chance?
If mileage is low, meaning below 50, I will call them and arrange an appointment to make a purchase.

4 miles on the one at Vista and I did not drive down to Torrance to see since the internet sales did not inspire confidence that he knew what he was talking about, I never got a mileage even though I asked several times.

Congratulations! I know how you feel. My 2007 yellow was wrapped in plastic too when I bought it from DCH honda in Gardena. It's nice to know that only few people have driven your car!

its got 125 miles now

Its surprising how much I enjoyed unwrapping it.

People looked at me funny when it was lightly sprinkling and 53degrees and I was driving with the top down but then again they have always looked at me funny when I drove my old spider in the rain with the top down so that look was nothing new but on this car I most likely wont drive in real rain with the top down like my old car, too many electronics to fail in this one.

I can almost see it, that huge grin... like a kid on Christmas morning... ripping into those gifts. Congratulations and keep Rollin mikey, only 475 until VTEC!!!

My daughter is glad I did not get the Rio Yellow, she said if she barfed on the car it would actually improve the looks of the car (hint, she did not like Rio Yellow)
Going to be FUN !
Funny about your daughter...when I got my white one (which is the only color better than Silverstone ), my daughter basically said the same thing. Until the day I sold it, my daughter hated that car because it was white.

And I really wanted a white Elise and couldn't find one...so got my 2nd choice, silver. To me, it isn't as nice, but she loves it. Go figure. She just got her license last week, and it's been made very clear...she will not drive my car.

Congrats on the purchase, and keep it away from I.V. if you can... (UCSB alma mater) Too many parties over there

Mark

Mark, I recognize the nick from Elise Talk, I was really into Elises until soccermom tried to take me out on my motorcycle, the Elise was going to be a weekend toy since the bike was my daily driver, once the bike was gone, I was going to get the Elise as my daily but its just not a daily driver. Yes, it can do it, I expect a Elise would be every bit as reliable as the S2000 as a daily but it just was not for me...

And I am shooting for VTEC by the weekend I had a miserable time today on 154 and the back roads while keeping the revs down.

I work at UCSB so the car will be there but hopefully not I.V. too much.
