Default Lets hope 3rd time is a charm...

Well, I am back. Cannot stay away from these cars, I guess. For those who don't know me - I had an 03 S2000 with 1200 miles (yes, 1200) I sold off in 2007 . Then I picked a 00 S2000 with a salvage title (theft) that I had for a while in 2009 and sold it as well when our child was born.

But, I picked up a 2003 Sebring Silver S2000 from Chicago area (NW Suburb, Mt. Prospect) with 43K miles on it. The car is clean overall, interior is very clean. The exterior has a few blemishes, but no dings or dents. Bone stock, not modified.

I do have a question:

The previous owner had an audio system cleanly installed in the car installed with the stock HU. It has a bass knob and wiring cleanly run into the trunk. There are power, ground, remote turn-on, bass knob cable and 2 plastic molex plugs in the trunk and I need to figure out what these are for. I am guessing for an amp or sub combo. I hate to remove this nice wiring, but if its amp and sub specific, I will have to pull them out. I will post some pics this week, probably explain better.

It has a clean title etc with no accidents, but is missing the identification sticker on the door jamb which I think is weird. I looked underneath and such, but no wrinkles to metal, paint etc. I just find it odd.

No plans to do a whole lot to this car. Maybe the basic mods and call it good. Nothing too crazy.

Good to be back here!

Congrats! These cars are definitely an addiction!!

The molex plugs could be a number of things, but I'd have to see them to make even a "shot in the dark" guess. The door sticker may be missing due to a door replacement. The door itself could have been damaged without harming much else.

Well, door has a VIN tag on it. The tag I am missing is the one on the door frame with VIN, Color, etc - Body seems fine underneath and such. So, I cannot tell what the deal is there!

I will post the pics of plugs...I know its for an amp of some sort!
