Default Looking to Buy. Advice?

Hey everybody,

I will be checking out a 2003 S2000 this weekend and I was wondering... What are some things I should look for? What usually goes bad in a S2000?

I have to just put it out there only buy the car if it is your weekend driver my ap1 is pretty harsh for DD....look at the soft top because they are pricey and just look and see if any mods were done to car... for example at the dealership i bought my car there was 2 s2000 i bought mine because the other one has slotted rotors and a header and mine was stock

Like orangeblast says, i wouldn't buy a car that has been modified even if it's tuned to your taste. Other than that, you can check soft top for rips, tires, interior, trunk, and engine bay, and of course test drive. Oh yeah one other thing i would check is to roll the top down and back up. There were several occasions where the top didn't align properly and it was very hard to hook in place. The top wasn't even brand new. Hope that helps and welcome!
