Oats - thanks for the picture. I would imagine those would be called lower splash shields and a part of the fender liner.

kevinS2000 - The OP has not posted what he wants exactly, which is why I asked him if he know the differences between all the years. If he did, maybe he could make a more concise decision. Some people like one certain aspect of cars, for example 9000 redline verses front bumpers. Of course with money and all of these options could be obtained.

What I was saying is that IMHO (in my humble option) AP2's in general are better than AP1's. This is just my personal option based on my numerous hours of research, I have a 2006 LBP by the way. Therefore I would be more interested in the black modified AP2. However it does have some downfalls which I listed and added to Oats initial observation.

If this were me I would walk away because I prefer 100% stock AP2's. However that will cost a lot more than possibly what the OP can/wants to pay.

I just thought you meant you would prefer any AP2 in any condition (given the car being discussed in this case...) over a well maintained AP1.

And I don't think he was asking opinions on the differences between AP1 and AP2.

 

Honestly I would wait as none of these look all that great. The silver ap1 looks stock so that's never a bad thing. The other 2 have beat up interior it's looks like. I would stay away from the black ap2.

 

^ I don't see anything wrong with the silver or the blue one; they both seem like they are in good shape. In what way would the silver one be unacceptable?
