In the market for S2000
Hows everyone doing?
I don't own a S2000 yet, but I live in SoCal and I'm currently looking for a 00-03 S2000. The problem is, what is a reasonable price to pay for a certain amount of miles, being that the car is stock and it runs fine. For example, I have seen one that is stock with 70K miles for around $14000. Would that be an ok buy or is the price too steep.
Any help is appreciated.

so i woudl say that 14k for a 70,000 mile car is too much

From what I noticed s2ks in california are much more expensive than S2Ks in other states. I've been searching through autotraders and L.A.'s craigslist, and for around $10k the mileage is in the high 90k. For around $15k the mileage is between 60k and 75k.
Its hard to find a good deal for a S2K in socal. I've been searching for about a month now. I'm only interested in the 00-03 models.
Thanks for the input.

I just picked up a 2001 Berlina Black with 52k miles on it for $12.5. Mechanically great and the body is straight. Just needs a tad bit of love in the interior. THe carpeting had some wear on it but it's a 7 year old car so its completely acceptable. Nothing that can't easily be fixed.
