Default Someone find me an S2000!!!

Hey guys...I posted a few weeks ago about getting an S2000. I am ready to buy now, and I was wondering if you guys knew of any for sale. I don't have much to spend, so I am looking for a 2000 or 2001 for around $19,000. If anyone knows of any around Rochester, NY, please let me know. I want to go and pick it up this Saturday if possible. I saw a 2001 with 72k miles go for $17,200 on ebay. I had an Integra with 154k miles on it which was no big deal, but is 72k miles a lot for an S2000? Thanks for the help guys.

Is $19,000, the price I am expecting to pay reasonable? I'm not sure, because I have seen so many with 20-30k miles go for around $22-23,000.

It's reasonable but not very probable. I would think that they only S2K's you will be finding in that price range will have greater than 60k miles on the car or will be a salvage/theft titled vehicle. I would find a way to come up with another $3k and get a nicer used model in the 20-40k mile range. Either way 70k miles is really nothing for a Honda engine. No one knows the long term longevity of the F20C yet because no one's car is at that point. To say it will not last as long as a typical Honda engine, simply because it revs higher than the others, is horseshiat.

Good luck with your hunting.
