make sure they take the spring spacers out, and i think they should give you a tonneau cover as well. i got my dealer to throw in a car cover too, which is an accessory, so it doesn't hurt to try.

There used to be a new owner's checklist in the site library, but I can't find it any longer. Here's a useful thread.

Your salesperson should have a checklist to work off of. If he/she doesn't, you might want to ask him/her for it.

Tell the dealer to keep his logo and name off the car. Unless they want to pay you a fee for advertising for them. Don't forget the secret compartment.

You're welcome!

Yes, exactly what winson said... Some dealers do put some sort of stickers or even adhesive metal insignias on their cars. Just say no (unless you want to advertise the dealer and watch it peel or rust in a few years).

If the dealer does put something on your car, it's easily removed. If it's vinyl, just heat and peel. A little polish and you'll never know it was there.

I removed the dealer emblem off my car the day after I got. And the included a licens plate frame on the back with their name on it. I've ordered a new one.

'Course if you really like your dealer and want to give him the free advertising, go right ahead.

Oh, and enjoy that new car!
