So yeah last week some goofball hit the front of my car as I was leaving work.. Totalled my 04 Honda Accord EX V6 6 Speed.. You know how cars get your emotions going at times, well this one had me at git go when I bought it... But now it is time to look for a used 04-06 S2000.. My Honda Accord had really high ratings all around but what I found more appealing was that the 04 Accord V6 motor was rated one of the top 10 motors in 04 by Ward's Auto... If I buy a S2000, I will be driving it as a daily driver and will be enjoying every minute of it.. Only thing, I dont want to worry about crap breaking down?? How would you say this car is as far as reliability goes... I read something about an oil suffication issue? Any heads up would be greatly appreciated!!

Another question I had was, does all S2000 come with HID's? Or are they just projectors with normal bulbs?

I'll answer one of your questions...the HID's are stock.

 

s2000 is fairly reliable, but it also all depends on the driver. Yes HID are OEM with all s2000's.

I had an 04 Accord V6 6MT as well. I used it as my daily driver to work and used my S2000 on the weekends. As you know, the Accord V6 6MT is a spectacular car and will be missed in some aspects, but the reason I sold it was because it became increasingly difficult to not grab the S2000 keys every morning before work. The Accord eventually became boring while the S2000 continues to put a smile on my face everytime I push 'Start'. You will not be disappointed in the S2000 as it is just as reliable as the Accord but 10 times more fun to drive.

The car has good reliability, however its all dependent on the owner and how the car is treated. All in all its a the big H man.
