Default my 1st s2k

Hey all, my name is Remy and 3-4 days from now I will be the proud owner of a 2001 s2k black exterior and red interior. I've had several cars before it but this is my first legit sports car. I got tired of buying slow POS cars and spending money to make them loud annoying slightly faster POS cars. 97 civic hx - 03 lancer - 02 civic si ep3, so I decided to buy something that is already fast! in between the rice ive also owned a truck and jeep but having a car was just always better for me.

here's a pic of the car im getting:

and just so you can laugh at my previous attempts at going fast here are the highlights:

97 civic HX economy model

it was my first car and I loved it do death and thought it was the fastest shit ever!

03 lancer ES (extra slow)

this one was kinda cool, intake, greedy headers/exhaust, piggybacked ecu and large fuel rail. YES the hood vent was functional!

oh yeah dont forget the custom wood grain trunk!! (man I did some dumb shit)

98 wrangler

I loved my jeep and I kept it the longest out of any of my vehicles I had to sell it after a way too many problems: Blown shocks, cracked powersteering gear box, shredded the gears in the rear diff ect... I would always fix it myself but after 3 years with the jeep i had to go back to a reliable honda.
Jeep Love:

Jeep hate:

02 civic si ep3 hatch

I got this car mainly for good MPG and honda reliability but I did not care about it at all, I actually hated that little civic! I will never again buy a car that someone else modified first... I was able to get that car for $3000 under blue book so at lease i made some money when i wrecked it...

Swerved when a kid tried to cross the street, it was a road I've drove down several times a week since i was 16 and it was a nice little left hand turn. I was doing 80 as I've done many times before but with shitty tires i couldn't recover this time
I suppose I've never bothered with a fast car because I really prefer motorcycles, this is my current ride:

took that pic after I had just installed a k&n filter along with a dynojet PCV

took that one after I smoked a 2008 zo6 that had a cam, headers, exhaust and a tune. It was a friend of my who was just so convinced he would win but I ran bus lengths on him

Anyway, know that you know pretty much my life story when it comes to my vehicles I cant wait to get my S2K and start learning about you guys here on the forums and getting tips for my new car.

Im planning to install a 2 way alarm system with interior peizo sirens ASAP
I work at the mall and I am slightly nervous about driving the S2K for my DD but there is NO WAY IN HELL I would leave the repsol outside the mall for 10 minutes so the car is gonna get some extra security to keep her safe...

anyone know where to get some seat locks??

-Remy

welcome to the forums bro. I started out just like you.

1996 Subaru Legacy Outback

Hand me down from my mother. Best car I ever had for snow. Went through everything! RIP!

2000 GMC Jimmy

Nothing special about this. Was cheap and at the time I needed a big car.

2000 Toyota Celica GT < I felt like the best when I bought this car. Even thought it was an automatic. Haha. Put an exhaust and intake and felt like I was the cool as sh!t.

1998 Honda Prelude Base - Almost 200hp in my hand. V-Tec all day and night. This was an amazing car but it salvaged title and had alot of problems.

First day I picked it up.

After fixing a few things and a wax and polish.

And my current toy...

I hope you enjoy your s2k as I enjoy mine. Best car I've owned so far!

I've had the car for 2 days now and I love it!! It is the most fun car I have ever driven and every time I look at it I still can't believe I own it!

I got tint installed this morning, 4 more days with top up until it's all the way dry

I'm planning to wash and detail her tomorrow then I'll take some pics for you guys!

Jeez taking an S to a job at a mall can only mean it's a matter of time before some jackass steals something from it. Just due to the traffic malls have and the not to best people going there. Just a matter of time. Good luck though! U can always weld the seats in :-D.
