One thing I did notice was that I was able to let the rear-end loose very easily (I've test driven several s2ks, both 2.0/2.2). This is most likely due to the lack of tread, but just thought I'd mention it. I also know that the pre-MY04s have sharper oversteer, so maybe this was it.

I purchased my00 in March of '06 with 10,900 miles. I thought I was lucky ...my00 is great, no clock!

 

May I ask you how much you paid for it?

 

That's extremely low mileage. However, I think you might be able to do 1-2 grand better in price. Start negotiating at a lower price (IMO).
