Default n00b, interested in purchasing an s2000

Hey guys my name is Roger, my nick name is Bong, im from Michigan, currently I drive a 93 celica convertible with a 3sgte swap at 15psi and other goodies , Im haven't been this close to parting out my car to the point where i have made a list, but i have been irritated with it lateley and the clutch issue ive been having has been pissing me off and i just don't wanna have to take the trans off 6 more times , and im to the point where the next time it comes off is going to be the last time it comes off. Spec FTL...i wanna get something newer and more reliable and i have been interested in getting myself an s2000, and i just wanna drive a car and not worry about it breaking down. I've been looking around and lurking around on the forums for a while and i think its getting to be about that time where the celica might be parted out for something newer and better. i know a few buddies of mine that are on teh forum and a relative also.

That Celica is sorta cool; Darth Celica.

I've only owned my S for a couple weeks, but from what I hear they are as reliable as any Honda made if not more so. It is a blast to drive (even though I can't open her up all the way yet), gets lots of looks, and I even had a Harley chick compliment it at a light here in Austin this weekend during the ROT Rally. :-)

Welcome to the forum!

Nice wheels and seats! Are those Project Mu calipers or did you just paint it the same color?

You'll definately enjoy the S. Looks like you have fairly good taste in parts so I'm curious how your S is going to turn out.

w00t!1!!! hopefully i can sell most of these parts out. thats the only thing im worried about, i dont want to start parting it out and then only sell a couple parts off of it. i don't know if i might keep teh brides and put them in the ap1, i know the takatas i would need to get some sort of cage or bar, and also get the short version instead of the long version. so the search button will be my best friend for a while.
