Hi to all, I have just registered and new to this forum.

I am in the process of buying an S2000 from UK and my question is?

When did the chassis change from AP1 to AP2, because i found one registered in March 2004 and the chasis plate
says AP1 and another S2000 registered April 2005 and the chassis plate is still AP1.

These two have facelift, different bumpers, oval exhausts but why still AP1, is it something done on UK cars or im missing something here.

I am confused since I thought that from late 2003 they are all AP2.

Can you help out please.

Not sure.. But maybe, say, a 2003 ap1 would say it was first 'registered' in 2004 if it was first purchased in 2004, though it's still a 03 ap1. What did the owners say?
