Hi Everyone. I am new to this forum, so I hope this is the right area for this thread.

I am in negotiations to purchase a used red 2005 S2000 with 5000 miles. The car is in excellent condition. The car is completely stock with standard options. My negotiations have gotten the price to $22000. It seems like an alright price, but I just wanted to get some input from members here that know more about S2000 pricing then me. I am try to negotiate a lower price. What number do you think I should shoot for?

Get a carfax.... if its clean.... take it and run. Private Seller or Dealer?? and.... 22 OTD or 22 + Fees??

 

Its a dealer. We havent discussed any other fees. One thing I am worried about is, if the car was taken on 5000 miles worth of joy ride test drives. What do you think? Is that a valid worry?

 

That seems like a great price for the year and mileage. I'm not a pro, but I've been looking to buy one myself. My deal should be settled today, but I'm getting a 2001.
