New
Hi everyone I'm new to the boards and am buying a Honda S2000. I'm picking it up from the dealer this weekend and am really excited. Its a Black 2001 S2000
I originally was looking to buy a Subaru RS (the two door coupe version of course) but when I was at a dealer they asked if I wanted to test drive the S2000 I had just been admiring so I did. I was so taken with the car I ended up coming back a week later and signing the papers for it. I couldn't believe how tight the handling was or how fast it was(probably too fast for me but oh well).
Anyway I'm just out of college and I really want to get into mechanics, auto cross and eventually track racing. I don' know too much about any of it (yes, I'm a noob) but I know I love cars and driving so I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you guys later on. Thanks!
Mike

Congrats. Check the oil level at every fill up, its normal that these cars burn some oil, so dont be too worried if it is. And be careful in the wet. Oh, I'm not sure where you live, but look into getting seat locks, just in case. You can search for them on the forum.
Many questions have been asked and answered over the years, especially on the most popular mods (wheels, suspension, under the hood) so take the time to do your research. Also, check out your local board. These can be a great source of info and help. And you'll probably make some new friends along the way. Good luck.
