New AP1 owner...well sort of
I always wanted an S2000 and in 2007 I finally had enough money to buy...a Civic SI...

I was at a point in my life when I was sick of fixing my old '92 celica and just wanted something new and reliable. The S2000 had to wait. Six years later with schooling out of the way and no other debts to pay, I decided it was time. So I sold the Civic and bought a '94 accord in perfect condition for my daily driver and had the help of a friend with a dealer license buy a 2003 s2k at an auction...

It was a 1 owner vehicle with 62k miles on it that had been sitting for a while (unfortunately not in a garage). It needed a little work to get rid of all the dirt and dust along with replacing some trim pieces and the timing chain tensioner. After replacing the spark plugs, the filters, servicing all the fluids and replacing the tires, it was good to go. My plan for it was to give it a little attitude while keeping it somewhat 'oem looking'. So I came up with a photoshop of how I wanted the car to look...

Inspired by this member's s2k...

And a year later this is how it sits...
