New AP2, got her this weekend!
Good afternoon all,
My name is Tyler, I'm originally from Ohio and I'm stationed in the panhandle of Florida. I had a friend with an S2k that he traded recently towards an NSX and I drove his and knew I had to have one. This weekend I drove to Augusta, GA to see my girlfriend as well as pick up the S2k. I found a bone stock '04 in Formula Red with 82k miles. Most of the service records were available on the carfax but the actual maintenance records and paperwork goodies weren't available. She's got about three small scratches which I need to touch up and a small rub mark on the top and that's about it. The darndest thing was that four hours after driving her off the lot I came around a corner and shifted (or tried to shift) into third. The clutch went straight to the floor and stayed there. After some crawling on the ground I found a rather large puddle of clutch fluid and then checked the reservoir. Yep, empty. Thankfully the dealership said they would pay for the tow as well as the repair but it kinda made for a sad day. My girlfriend will be driving the car to Florida this weekend as long as the repairs are done in time. Sorry for the long post, glad to be a part of the community.
Thanks!
Ty
