Default New from Cinci

Hey guys, just joined here. I just turned 18 and I live in cincinnati, OH. I currently drive a 99 bonneville ssei (supercharged). I am looking to purchase either a type-s or an s2000. I know insurance will be pretty high (i think?), especially on the s2k. But i have no accidents, no tickets, no citations, no nothing. Im wondering if these two cars, or either of the two, are too much for me. The site seems like a good community, and I know a couple guys around here that are in the club, because one of my buddies has an s2k. Thanks guys!

18, wow thats young..

i currently own a type S, and want to upgrade to a S once i graduate in a year. If you can afford either, obviously go for the S. I drive my friends S on occasion, and its the most exciting car I've ever driven. The type S is great in its own way, which is being practical while being sporty at the same time. However you can't compare the two, especially in the summer.

Welcome aboard. I'm thinking you are interested in the RSX Type-S, so insurance will (in most cases) be less and probably more affordable. But if you have the funding and the responsibility, go for the S. I got my S2000 when I was 20 and it took a lot of hard work to keep it, but well worth it. Good luck.
