Default NEW FL member need help!

Whats up guys, I will be becoming a S2000 owner this week. My friend has a 2001 s2000 that has a seized up motor, and I am going to pick it up and slowly start to rebuild it in my own garage. I have built several cars in my past but all Honda's. I had a all motor 91 EF hatch that ran a 12.5 back in 2007, than built a 97 Civic EX coupe that I rebuilt numerous times last setup was a 2.0 Fully built LS VTEC that made 492whp 376tq on pump, sold it to IPG parts and than now on to my current car which is a 2015 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. Rebuilding this S2000 is something I am looking forward too. Little history on whats wrong with the s2000 when i looked at it, Pulled the valve cover and noticed the intake cam looked dry from oil starvation and the journals looked messed up too. Dont know how or what happened but one thing I did notice the HEX bolt in front of the head that holds the gear inside was threaded out a lot and could almost see the o-ring. Has anyone had a similar problem like this before?
