the new guy, with a few ?'s!
sup fellas, purchased a 05 s2000 berlina black, traded in my speed 3 for it. I probably will Daily the crap out of the s2k, Already purchased some blizzakks for it, so it should be a great winter :-/, its okay, i wasn't going to let that stop me from getting my dream car. if its really bad ill get a beater. regardles, i had a few questions regarding my purchase.
1. is there any gain with a racepipe, and is it ok to run on stock tune?
2. I plan on doing stainless steel clutch line along with deleting the CDV, anybody from chicago land area that has done this before and can give me a little hand?
3. i understand theft is becoming an issue, which alarm do you guys recommend? (besides keeping a glock next to my bed at all times)
4. this might be really stupid but Is there any damn way u can unlock the passenger door from the inside without actually reaching over and unlocking it or pressing it on the remote
5. I do plan on eventually doing a 4.77 Final drive, was wondering if this is 2 short of gearing for the ap2

1. If you mean a test pipe, then yes there is some gain, but you won't really get much without a tune. It is safe to run on the stock tune.
2. You can check out your local forums, I'm sure someone will be willing to lend a hand.
3. I don't know about alarms.
4. Not that I'm aware of
5. Definitely too short. Check out http://www.turnzero.com/technical_re...ear_calculator, select the AP2 and adjust the axle ratio to 4.77. The results are pretty unpleasant. The shortest I would go on an AP2 would be 4.44.

Test pipe still uses a cat. Racepipe is catless iirc. Would be a nice little addition along with making her a little louder. But def need to take care of the clutch delay valve asap. Drivin me nuts

Well took ojt the delay valve and it definatly helped a lot. Still however it doesnt grip as good as the ap1 but im assuming thats because of the flywheel
