Security System
For the record, my car obviously came with an immobilzer. But the factory alarm is extra, I didn't get it.
Funny enough it was a full year before I realized it wasn't there. made a big hoopla about how if I opened the locked door from the inside the horn would go off. Paul says to me I don't think so, So I say watch!.. went over there and Nothing!!
Ugh it was embarrasing.
As for alarm reccomendations, sorry I don't really know.

then i apologize to vijay....
mike, try this:
stand beside the car, lock the doors with the remote, wait a couple of minutes, then use the key to open the door from the outside - see if your horn starts going off.
let me know, cause i'm quite curious.

OK.
anyways, the key is the immobilizer - i don't really care if someone breaks into it - i just don't want them to be able to TAKE it. the car's so small that i don't really store anything in it cause there's no where to store it!
i have a 407 transponder, sunglasses, lighter/cigs and that's it.
