Hello everyone! I'm new here and currently living in Dallas, TX. I'll keep this short and sweet.
First car: 1996 Civic - started bone stock and ended up with an LS-VTEC, 450 whp, suspension, brakes, paint etc.
I sold the Civic to finish college. After I graduated, I bought a bone stock 2012 GTR. I did a lot to the car, full bolt-ons, coilovers, wrap, brakes, and eventually aero. I was bit by the track bug and decided I wanted something more track friendly.
I then picked up a 2019 Camaro ZL1 1LE. The car, while an absolute blast to drive on track, went through consumables at an annoying rate. I did 12-13 track days before I decided I was tired of fighting the weight of newer vehicles.
And now I'm here! I bought this 2000 AP1 in NFR with 63k miles on the odometer. It has a decent list of modifications, many of which I had planned on doing if I bought a stock (or near stock) s2k. Needless to say, I love the car and I am excited to have something to work on again! Engine: F20C with <2k miles on a fresh OEM rebuild AP2 valve springs and retainers K&N cold air DC header GReddy Ti-C single exit exhaust Mishimoto aluminum radiator Samco hoses J's racing ECU
Transmission/Drivetrain: Stock AP1 (<2k on new stockish clutch)
Suspension/Brakes: Tein Mono coilovers Rotora front big brake kit (330 mm) Enkei 17x9 square setup Dunlop 255/40/17 square
Exterior: ASM wide front fenders Shine ASM front bumper ASM rear over fenders VIS wing APR splitter Carbon hard top (unsure of brand) VIS carbon hood
Misc: Gutted (and I do mean gutted..) interior Hard dog roll bar Cobra racing seat (fits me perfect, it'll stay for now) Scroth 6pt harness Sparco wheel Shift knob and some carbon interior bits
Extra stuff given to me with sale: 2 sets of buddy club seat rails Spare alternator (needs to go in) Misc interior pieces Mishimoto thermostatic oil cooler
I plan on keeping the car as-is for a while. I need some seat time to get used to it and figure out what is needed, but I do plan on:
Proper set of track coilovers
Sway bars to match
Brake cooling
Clutch and rear diff upgrade
Forced induction
