New from IL! 2003 Grand Prix White!
Just picked this up from the dealer. Obviously being a dealer I paid a tad more than worth, but it was the right decision for me.
My first time in a s2000 was two days ago when i went to the dealership to check it out. Less than 2 hours later my 07 civic was traded in and I drove away in the s2000. Initial impressions, obviously, it's so small! But the handling is like nothing i've ever felt before. You stay planted in a curve so well that it is overwhelming at first! Here's a quick picture, really one of the only ones i've taken since i want to detail it first before showing it off.
q300 exhaust was ordered yesterday. Was really leaning on the dual Greddy but the price of the q300 was a bit more persuading. Staying away from a test pipe for now after hearing the videos of test pipe with q300... EW! Looking into hi flow cats, most like maganflow or something of the sort to test out to get rid of the eventual drone upon installation.
A little about my car background, I'm 23 years young and got my first car at age 16, a 1996 Ford Contour SE. Drove it until 18, got a 1993 Ford Probe GT. First started modifying then. Cold air, painting random pieces, strut bar, axle back. Then i randomly bought a turbo kit for it without any knowledge of turbos. I read and read and read and drove around on a turbo'd probe GT on a DIYautotunes Megasquirt unit that i built and tuned myself. AFter 2 years i bought a 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 which is an absolutely phenomenal car. That is what i was really in the market for the past year after not being in the car scene (went to motorcycles, had 3 in 3 years). After the speed 3 came a 00 Rav4 5 speed, and shortly after that my 07 civic LX that i drove the past 2ish years.
Last year i bought a 94 probe GT turbo'd, i de-turbo'd and it has sat in the garage ever since. HG went, decided to pull the motor and throw a KLZE in, and stil having the same no start issue i was 8 months ago. Hopefully get that running soon to either daily or sell.
Well that was a bit about me, thanks for taking the time to read up! If you have any questions go ahead and shoot! And before you ask, yes my plans are to be turbo'd within the year hopefully. These cars are complete animals boosted.
