New Member & Hopeful New Owner
Hi everyone, I do not own an S2K yet, though it has always been my dream. I currently have a '98 Prelude, which I'll be selling to save for a S2K. Aside from my most recent purchase (a Chevy Volt for commuting purposes), I've only owned honda. I started with an '87 hatch civic, then had a '99 civic lx, then a '10 civic ex. After my '10 got totaled, I bought the prelude, after that a '01 civic, which I still have as well (well I gave it to my pops). I fell in love with my prelude and was going to fix it up, with the idea that I could never afford a S2K. However, thankfully now rather than $$$ later, I realized why give up on my dream of being an S2K owner. Plus, the amount of money that I would have put into my prelude, I could just use that and sell my prelude and BOOM now I'll have enough money to afford a S2K. So why settle for less when I can get more for the same amount of money?
I live in SoCal and I'm a computer science geek. I'm open to any suggestions or advice on how to shop for a S2K. I look forward to being a part of the S2K community.

Hello and welcome to S2KI! Check the What to look for when buying a used S2000 thread. Be patient and wait for the right one to come along. Hope you have a garage as theft and vandalism are real issues unfortunately. Good luck in your search!

Hi csgeekisme:
Well, you have started your search in the correct place.
Visit www.bringatrailer.com frequently. Many S2000s are popping up for sale. You can monitor what the cars are actually selling for, what they have sold for in the past, and read many helpful comments from users of the site.
I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for ya.
