Default New member looking to purchase first S2K

First I wanted to say hi and thanks for adding me to this community. I have a couple buddies who have S2000s and are in love with them. After taking a couple rides with them I found out why so I decided its about time I join the club. I have a number of options looking on craigslist and local dealers, but this is my first time buying a used vehicle and my technical knowledge is zero. I was wondering if there were any Jacksonville members willing to make any suggestions on what's available to me. Thanks for your responses!

I just recently purchased my S2000. Been watching sales in the southeast for the better part of a year before I finally pulled the trigger. Finally drove 6 yours to get the right car. I will be happy to give you some tips. I think you need to first look at how much you are willing to spend? What is your intended use for the car, just for fun or daily driven? Are there any must have such as low mileage or AP2 only? I best tip I can give you right out of the gate is "be patient." You don't want to jump on one of the first S2000s you see at a dump car lot. You will regret it.

I don't drive much annually but this purchase is going to be a daily driver. I don't have any preferences between the ap1 or 2 but I intend to keep it for a while so I would like to find one with less than 100k miles.
