Just wanted to say hello, and talk about how fortunate I am to have the car I always wanted, a s2000. In 1999 my old man and I were at the local Honda dealer when a car hauler full of brand new Hondas came in. On the the back of the truck was one silver s2000. My dad and I watch that truck for at least 20 minutes as the driver was unloading the precious cargo. I instantly I feel in love. I was 14 and didn't know what love was. Fast forward to 2008 and I was able to pick up a 2004 aspen white subaru sti and once again I feel in love. Or so I had thought. I had the car for 8 years but it was plagued with problems. Turbo went, motor blew, dash squeaked and ratted, ecu problems, bad injectors etc. It was a real fast lemon. I was always fixing the damn thing, and upgrading the car. But it was mine and it was in great condition. One day after taking it out of storage after a long cold upstate ny winter, I got in a real bad accident. Unfortunately the insurance wrote off the entire vehicle. Actually it was blessing in disguise. I ended up getting back more money for the car then I paid for in 2008. I addmiatly started searching for something poweful and n/a. No more unreliable subaru turbo for me. I found a 2005 manual c6 corvette. This was the definition of impulse buy. The car was smooth and fast but never really what I wanted. Well it turns out It was also a blessing in disguise. I was able to trade in the corvette last year for a 2004 rio s2000 with only 21000 original miles. Straight up no sales tax paid. Not one dollar. It was a one owner no accident no modifications garage queen. A real gem. This was the car I alway wanted ever since a kid. It's fantastic. I couldn't be more happy I got my first love back in my life, and will never let her go. I Just wanted to intruduce myself and be a part of the s2000 family. I couldn't be more happy.

Congratulations! I too have memories of the first S2000 I laid eyes on. That love stuck with me and recently brought me back to another S2000.
