Default New and Need Help!

Hey guys, i know my title says that i have a berlina but i don't yet I looked all over the web and this one is by far the best community out there for the s2k.

Now i'm thinking of going with and 06 s2k, i'm kind of thinking 05 as well, but the upgraded drive by wire on the 06 is whats attracting me to it.

I would also like to know if there is any common issues that i should expect from an 05 or 06 S2k, transmission wise, suspension, drivetrain...any common problems that come with the car. thanks!

Attached is a l link to a thread that I love, lots of great info, some would apply to any used car and some specific to the S.

By the time MY06 rolled around, most of the bugs were worked out. The plastic rear window had been long replaced w/glass, the oil consumption that affected some of the early model years was gone, as was the infamous 'clutch buzz'. Take a good look, especially for signs of mods that have since been removed. The car is very reliable, there are numerous examples with more than 100k on the clock, still running strong. Good luck.

Welcome! Best wishes on the acquisition.
Perhaps one of the biggest things to look for (on all models, really) might be convertable top wear (some say it's a design flaw).
