Hello!

My name is Kevin, i'm 24 and have been wanting an s2k for a loooong time.

My wife and I are recently married ( just over a year ) and she is all for getting a fun car before the babies start to come.

I am looking at getting an S2000 this winter when the prices start to drop, and it will mainly be my weekend/ nice weather car while I will daily my 98 Civic.

I would love an Ap2, but i think it would be more reasonable to get a clean Ap1.

I have found a few and asked all the right questions, so hopefully I will be joining the club soon.

I am super excited, this will be my first manual ( it may ruin future cars if it is as good as I've heard).

If you live in the Dayton/Cincy area please let me know! I could use some help with finding a good mechanic for PPI and maybe a second opinion when I go to visit.

 

I am from the Cincy area and am looking for a 2006+ AP2 this winter as well. If I see an AP1 for sale nearby this winter, I will try to give you a heads up. You may want to go to cars and coffee on Riverside drive on Saturday mornings. Several S2000s usually show up, but as it gets colder, it will start to shut down for winter. You may be able to find some knowledgeable S2000 owners there who can help. I do not really know enough about these cars to be able to offer much help as I am looking for my first S2000.
