Default better to buy now or wait for winter?

been looking for a s2000 to get back into..
aside from really wanting to get one, should i wait for the winter for a better deal? low mileage ones are going for high 10s and low 20s for an ap2, which is a tad bit higher than my allocated budget at this time...
i had an ap1 so i'd like to try ap2 this time around..
what do you guys recommend if you bought used?
thanks for feedbacks..

Bay Area prices probably won't fluctuate too much. I'd say get it now and enjoy the nice weather. Maybe next year prices will be lower by a grand, but you could probably swing a sweet deal now if you're a smooth talker.

I went from an AP1 to an AP2. Be sure to go that way - you won't regret it.

+1 on the prices not fluctuating much due to where you live.

When you find the prefect one, you'll know when to pull the $$$$ out. Go for a AP2, thats what i'll do if I owned a AP1 before. I don't see my 9K rpm often, if the AP2 was around when I bought my AP1 in 2003, I would've went for a AP2 for a DD
