New and old owner. I'm back
Hey everyone. This is my 4th s2000 & my last one , because this one I will keep forever , you never really know how much you miss a s2000 until you sell it , whitch is exactly why I've always come back to them. For me I just feel at home in these cars. But like most of us sometimes life gets in the way and you have to keep making moves. My first car was a Honda Del sol , so when the s2000's came out I knew I'd own one , 1 day. My first s2000 was a silver 2003 with 20k , but I was younge & dumb and ended up trading it in for a 2008 civic si , biggest mistake ever, but you live and learn. I bought the civic si brand new right off the truck & not even 8k miles later it has the dreaded transmission issues. So threw the process of taking it in for service I spotted it. A 2005 Grand Prix white s2000 sitting on the lot with 32k on it , a woman had leased it & her lease was up , so after dealing with the higher ups at Honda it was mine. I owned this s2000 for about 6 years , unfortunately again life sometimes gets in the way and I regretfully ended up selling it , but at the time I needed a little more room so I got gifted a 2008 Honda Accord by my grandmother who never drove it , I loved that accord !! So one day I was getting gas and right beside the gas station was a Honda/Nissan dealer ship & there it was a 2005 silver s2000 with about 80k on it. So I walked over , next thing you know I'm test driving it & then running to the bank to grab the cash to buy it. So I had my accord for daily duty & my s2000 for weekend fun.. but with this s2000 I went over board. I purchased a oem hardtop , rpf1's , tein coilivers , challenge single exhaust , intake , 4000$ worth of hertz audio , I ended buying bride low max seats , takata harnesses & the list goes on on. I loved this s2000 , but I had turned this thing into a race car, when I would start it , it woke the dead lol & I live in a very quiet neighborhood & I was getting a little older and wiser. All I had ever owned was hondas , so I figured why not switch things up in my life , so I needed a car to be fast & big enough for daily duty. So I sold the s2000 to a guy who bought it site unseen & sent a enclosed trailer to my door. Then I located a 2015 subaru sti , whitch was a pain , but either way I found a 2015 sti with 4 miles on it , so I bought it & then sold my accord. Lemme tell you I love my sti , it's fun , quick & has plenty of room. But after about a year of owner ship , I was missing my s2000 lol. Like I said , I just feel at home in these cars. So about a month ago I started my search , I wanted the newest one I could find , with the lowest mileage I could find & afford lol . I ended up with a 2008 Berlin black with 24k miles, so I bought it site unseen , cut the check & next thing you know the transporter was dropping her off. So to wrap it up , I want to give a big thank you to the s2ki community, this place feels like im

Few more pictures for fun. My old k24 swapped Integra type r , my ugly mug lol , a buddy of mines sr20 swapped s2000, a picture of when my s2000 showed up.. im a detail freak , so I keep all of my cars super super clean & buffed. You won't find a scratch or swirl on any of them.. they are all opti coated using opti coat pro.. and I wash them all once a week. Call me OCD, but I get lot of compliments and dang your car is so clean. But that's just me , heck I just love to detail cars in general. I'd detail any s2000 on s2ki if I could & opti coat it just for fun. The opti coat just makes for the easiest car washes ever , nothing will stick to the car literally. It's really cool stuff & it's a bonus that optimum polymer tech ( opti coat ) is based in my home town of Memphis . Either way , thanks for looking , if you have any questions feel free to ask away
Welcome back! I'll try not to make the same mistake and keep her until I can't physically drive anymore. Being that I'm 36, I've got some good driving years left. I finally got my S last year after wanting one for 17 years. Better late than never!
Thanks buddy .. man I hear ya on that , definitely keep the s2000. You never realize how nice & fun theses cars are until you sell it. I'm so glad I was able to find another nice one. Theses cars are already becoming very rare, & collectors items. Good luck to ya homer
