Just arrived home, lots of preventive maintenance to go through but drives amazing. Couldn't be happier
Front tires ended up being from 2016 so really didn't feel super safe driving 4+ hours with rain on those. Ended up having to go for the Firehawk Indy 500 as they're the only one I could get quickly in Tampa.

The Firehawks will be fine! Lots of guys here run them without apologies.

Car photographs well! Maybe some glamour shots in the park during the Golden hour, the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset when the light is softer, warmer, and more diffused than at other times of the day. This is because the sun is lower on the horizon, and its light travels through more atmosphere, scattering the blue light and leaving behind warmer tones like yellow and orange. This creates a flattering and often magical light for photography.

Did you pull that used oil sample?

Definitely, need to get some pictures in Miami iconic spots!!! (and maybe repeat in 10 years when I get a matching 930 slatnose )

Got the kit delivered, but no time this trip to do the fluids!

So far have done:
  • Billman TCT
  • Coils & Sparkplugs
  • Engine & Cabin filter
  • Tires
  • Headlights restored (400, 600, 1500 and 3000 grit wet sanding)
  • Bought some sweet anniversary mats in red
Next trip will be in order of priority:
  • Full fluids
  • Valve retainers & valve adjustment
  • Air Intake Hose (has a crack)
  • Check for suspension seized bolts
  • Check engine mounts (They don't seem bad yet, but would like to look at them)
  • + whatever I have time for in the thread dwb993 shared (thank you again )
Thanks for all the help guys, and reach out if you're ever up in the North East

I have had a 2001 AP1 since 2022 and just started getting through a lot of the preventative maintenance stuff:
  • Oil changed (pretty much every year)
  • Transmission and diff oils changed
  • New spark plugs
  • AP2 retainers and valve adjustment
  • New accessory belt
  • New cabin air filter
  • New tailight and side signal light gaskets
  • Full PPF on entire car
Next on my list are:
  • Install Ohlins Coilovers
  • Hardrace Adjustable toe arms
  • AP2 rear sway bar with new brackets
  • Hardrace sway bar end links
  • New wheels and tires for a 17x9" setup (to be determined what)
  • New TCT
