Default New owner!

Hello everyone, i just purchased my 03 grandprix white s2000 with black/tan interior and a black top.

the car was owned by a 65 year old man in St. Louis its whole life and has never seen the rain before! I will be daily driving it all summer though so i imagine it will get wet a couple of times..

anyhow i plan on doing a few things to the car performance wise..
i would like to start out with a drop in filter/spoon tube.. but i am still researching the best brands to go with for power gains etc.. also i am looking into ECU reflash and how to do that after the intake/exhaust mods i plan on doing.

i am big into photography, and i shoot with a canon DSLR so you can count on seeing MANY MANY picture threads from me in the near future. all i need is a day off and some good weather to take some pics in!!

i am signed up for my very first autoX in KC this weekend. im very nervous and very excited. i really want to learn to drive the car to its full potential.

i have had several hondas , my crowning achievement was my 91 crx si W/an ITR swap and TONS of suspension work. i still miss it, rust free, all origional Si interior and perfect clean exterior.. looked brand new.

anyhow if anyone can point me in the right direction for my intake/exhaust modding ideas then it would be much appreciated!

welcome and congrats on the car man. As far as exhaust goes, there are a lot of options available. Depending on weather you want a single or a dual is where you need to start your decision process. SIngle will make more power, so if thats what youare looking for then go with one of those. My personaly favorite echaust is the Spugen dual with oval tips. I like the sound and it retains the stock look for an ap2. Ther are a ton of exhaust threads around were you will be able to find more information on different exhaust. Good luck, and have fun with her.
