Tried out a 350z, RX-8, and the S2000 and well, I'm here!

This car is an absolute blast. I love it so much.

2006 New Formula Red.

It's got 3000 miles left on the factory bumper-to-bumper. Everything looks and feels okay, but anything that might need replacing before the warranty is up? Any recalls or such? Thanks!

I love this car!

Be sure to stock up on car detailing products, you'll want to keep the car looking good. Congrats on the find.

for the warranty with the next 3000 miles:

i'd keep an eye on the roof. look for wear areas that may cause a tear. pay attention to your differential also, if you're doing any rough driving, more of an issue with us ap1 guys but it's still the weak link of the drive train.

Thanks guys!

Did a lot more driving today. I need to invest in some sunscreen.

Question about the bumper to bumper... the carpet on the passenger side before that bar is "ripped."
It's a nice clean cut that goes through the carpet and the padding underneath it. It really doesn't look like that would be caused by any wear and tear... the passenger seat is in excellent condition which leads me to believe that the previous owner really didn't have anyone in it that often.

Would something like this be replaced by Honda? I'm taking it in next Saturday just to make sure that everything is operating as it should be, and I'll ask them about it, but I'm sure that some of you have had similar experiences with the dealership.

Yep! I did a claybar, polish, and wax today. My arm is sore!
That red really shines! The trunk is full of clean microfiber and some various all-purpose detailers and cleaners for quick touch-ups.

I take it you're in a warm place.

San Diego. I get to drive with the top down all year! It was 70F and sunny during my lunch break. Fun stuff.
