Whats up S2ki, I will soon be in the market for an S2000, and figured it would be a good idea to get on here and do some reading first. I currently drive a 94 accord coupe and have a 97 240sx that I'll be selling soon. I love my 240 but its time for something new. I have always loved the s2000 and wanted one, but Honda announced they were discontinuing it while I was looking and prices magically rose out of my price range so I bought the 240 instead. Ideally I want to pick up an 04-05 Ap2 because I love the updated look and I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the 04-05 is before they switched to the drive-by-wire system. I have not driven an s2000 with the drive-by-wire system yet and would like to when I start actively looking to buy. Also I have heard that the 2.2 is a little better than the 2.0 for daily driving. Right now I'm just soaking up all the info I can to make an informed decision. Since you guys are the pros I'm interested to hear what you guys looked for or would look for when buying and your opinions on the differences and updates to the different model years. So that my situation right now and I hope to be jumpin into an s2000 soon.
