Default Another new S2000 Owner

Hello all!

I was driving my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 with 5.3L Vortec V8, extended cab, totally loaded home last night. I noticed a few things:
1) my mileage was at 59K and change.
2) another summer of paying $80 a week to go 325 miles on a tank was coming up.
3) I was sick of my truck. Hard to park, etc.
4) the Honda dealer had a nice S2000 out front that was worth checking out.

I am now the proud owner of a 2006 Laguna Blue S2000. I ended up paying MSRP for it, but at least I did not pay the local dealer markup, which was an extra $5K. I am not sure that one can get a good deal on a 2 seater convertable in Kirkland Washington. At least, one that would satisfy the whim that was going on.

I am extremely happy with the car.

I do miss some things about my old truck. I am sure I will get over it soon. The hardest thing will be getting over the sound system. Just when you get it the way you want it.....

I look forward to learning a ton on this forum.

William

I am noticing it. Keeping the RPM under 5K RPM has been the hard part. This car likes to rev!

I was looking to purchase the ipod adapter for the stereo. I can purchase a 2006 Alpine system with the ipod adapter built in for $150 less. Better stereo, more functionality, lower cost. The downside is that the $150 will get burnt having an adapter for the remote stereo controls put in.

Tons of fun, lots of stuff to do!
