Just a quick hello - I am new to this board, having recently purchased a 40k mi NFR AP2 (04). I am in the San Francisco Bay Area - North Bay/Marin/San Rafael.

Long time car nut, current NSX owner, coming back to have a matching S2000.

Would like to get recommendations for knowledgeable shops for service and maintenance, perhaps light mods, alignment etc etc. Nothing major - I don't intend to track the car nor do any major mods. I know Don at Hilltop in SSF - he is a go-to NSX guy but I don't think he does S2000's.

I see some shops like Blacktrax in South Bay referred to here, but that is a hike for me. Prefer someone in Marin, or in San Francisco downtown, or even Fairfield/Vacaville.

My go to guy since I purchased my S2k 6 years ago is Dan at R-Crew Racing. Only guy that ever touches my car.

Good prices and awesome work! Specializes in S2000's. He's in SSF and I drive from the East Bay Area whenever I need any work done.

Do you have contact info handy? I searched but could not find the shop location or website.. Yelp says the location in Brisbane is closed.

I haven't actually been there yet, but I've heard Works Motorsport at Sonoma Raceway know their way around the car. When I moved to Sonoma County from the South Bay I was very sad to be out of easy reach to Blacktrax.

Welcome and congratulations on getting an S2000!! NFR is a really nice color, similar to the Formula Red of the NSX(my dream car) *drool*. Anyhow, I normally go to these three places to get top notch work on my S2000(specifically) and other cars: (Below no specific order)

- Joey's (Arco SSF San Bruno)
- BlackTrax (Fremont)
- TrackSpec (Fremont)

I used to do the engine tuning and chassis setup at Works, good group of guys up there. I know it's not one of those common places that everyone mentions but they'll take care of you. Tell Faruk Leon sent you.
