Hello s2ki.

Recently got a good deal on an 2002 BB AP1. Needs a little bit of TLC, but was a deal for age and price.

I am not new to the Honda game. I daily drive a 2008 Civic Si, but also have a 1997 Civic Hatchback with a k24a2 motor sourced from a 2007 Acura TSX mated to a six speed transmission from a 2002 RSX type S.

So what are my plans? I'm a little tired of the FWD weekend car and have fallen in love with RWD. Currently in the process taking apart the extra K20a2 (RSX type S) motor in my garage to inspect for damage so I can faithfully sell it, then I'm moving on to the 1997 Hatchback to part out next.

The 2.4 liter is going to make it into the AP1. I hope this doesn't offend the masses here, but torque is a beautiful thing, a very beautiful thing.

Very true. I was looking into that, but pushrod technology is old. iVTEC is new.

I want to say FI in the future ad well, since this will be strictly a street vehicle.
