what made you go from the 02 gpw, to the 06 black??? is there a huge difference... whcih one did u like better BLUDPRIX?

 

Look for a company called Dent Wizard or ask your dealer who they use for paintless dent removal. They can get rid of the dings without any paintwork. Looks great. Enjoy your new ride. Be carefull while you are learning as it quite a switch from a front wheel drive DelSol to RWD S2K...

Well, I went with the new one because I had no choice! My old car gave me a plethora of extremely irritating issues. Within a year of ownership, it had at least eight major breakdowns. Of course, the car was used with 44k miles when I got it. I did a little digging and found out the car was pretty heavily modified before I got it, and the dealership had to do a lot of work to get it to be certified.
Fast forward... The car started turning off while I was driving it, and inspection revealed that the engine wiring harness looked like a hack job on an aftermarket stereo. I talked to my dealer and we agreed on getting a brand new car so that I could rest easy about not knowing what happened before I got it. The trade in value was so close to what I owed, I could not say no. So I traded my MY02 for MY06...
Which do I like better? I like them both, for different reasons. AP1 just has a raw, hyper personality that is hard to find anywhere else. It feels thrilling, and a bit unpredictable. AP2 is more secure, and better balanced. It feels a bit less thrilling when you push it hard, but that is good because you can push it even harder as a result. Also, I have been spoiled by the changes made to the interior. I will put it like this; if my AP1 had not given me so many problems, I would be driving it right now. Since I have this car now, however, I am not looking back....
Oh yeah, Bloody Guts are the thing I miss most from my AP1. There is nothing like that interior. It's so hot and racy. The black is more mature, but can feel a tad muted at times.
