New from TN
Hello all,
I bought a silver 04 (black/red int) back in November and have been lurking the forums since. I finally decided to introduce myself - so whats up.
I am currently living just outside Nashville, TN and drove down to Murfreesboro to buy the AP2 from a dealership called Southeast Signature. To make a long story short, they negligently (to the point that I could probably argue fraud) sold me the car without telling me the full history of it. Apparently the previous owner had the car chipped/supercharged making about 450 to the wheels. The car broke down about 3 weeks after I bought it, and it remained in the shop for a month and a half while the head was pulled and milled. The block was also machined to account for any possible warpage due to the high horsepower that the engine previously had been subject to. Needless to say, I made the dealership pay for every penny of the work. Now the car is in tip-top shape running like a champ! And, it has roughly 17.5k miles on it haha.
The main reason why I decided to post is because I have a twin brother that I live with that just bought a white AP1 (red int)! My house has 2 s2ks sitting out on the driveway as we speak.
I have been a huge Honda fan since back in high school when my brother and I tuned 2 civic hatches. I was talked out of the S2k the first time I went to buy a new car because everyone I talked to thought it was impractical. I ended up giving in and buying a BMW and driving it for a couple years, the whole time yearning for an S2k. Well, I was finally sick of it back in November, went out and bought the S2k and have not looked back since. I absolutely love the car.
My brother and I also have a project S13 (SR20DET w/ Silvia front end conversion) that we have sitting in the garage (at this point all but collecting dust). Its a fast car, but no where near as fun as our two S2k's.
I look forward to fully enjoying this car for a very long time!

Welcome from another Nashvillian! Let me guess - your brother bought the GPW/Red MY02 at Crest Honda? Saw it one day, and it was gone the next...
If you get a chance, go to BNC - food's great, and so is the company!
